For more than a century, the Lyric Theatre in Swift Current has been a place for people to gather to share music, drama and art.
Built in 1912, the Lyric Theatre began with vaudeville productions, and over time it has seen silent movies, “talkies” and taverns.
Today, the Lyric’s program includes Open Stage, Improv Night, and Write Out Loud, held in July and featuring live theatre performances with actors from across the country.
